How to Correctly Vacuum Your Carpets

Follow these steps to properly and quickly vacuum your floors:

  1. Before vacuuming pick up all the hard and sharp objects from the floor (no matter how small they are) so as not to damage the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Ensure sufficient brightness to the room so that you don’t overlook the dirty areas.
  3. Check the vacuum bag and change it if it’s full (an almost full bag reduces efficiency of the vacuum cleaner by approximately 80%).
  4. Start vacuuming moving forward from the socket (so the cable will always be behind you and will not be a permanent obstacle).
  5. Go over the same spot at least three times to make sure that you picked up all the dirt (except over areas where there is no traffic and it is enough to pick up the dust).
  6. Periodically change the direction of vacuuming to reduce the carpet shedding.
  7. To vacuum corners and parquet cornices, use narrow accessories for vacuum cleaner and wipe them with a damp cloth (every 2. or 3. vacuum cleaning).
  8. Every once in a while treat your carpets with a cleaning product, such as Resolve Carpet Cleaner

Periodically check your vacuum cleaner to make sure it is working correctly:
- Clean and replace worn brushes of the vacuum cleaner.
- Make sure hoses are free of obstacles that can restrict air flow.
- Do not forget to empty or change the vacuum (the fuller it gets the efficiency of vacuum cleaner gets lower)
